Horizon 2020 Info Day on Societal Challenge 2 calls for proposals of 2020

This information day is an opportunity for attendees to get some insight into the Societal Challenge 2 calls for proposals of Horizon 2020, for the Work Programme of 2020, covering Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine and maritime and inland water research and the bioeconomy.

Come and learn about the Societal Challenge 2 calls for 2020 and get some practical information on how to successfully apply to the open calls for proposals.

Registration for the event is free of charge and compulsory. However, due to limited space, applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. Registrations are open until 28 June 2019. Travel and subsistence costs should be covered by the participants.

BioHorizon Societal Challenge 2 or KET Biotechnology Brokerage Event

Focus
The BioHorizon brokerage event targets a wide spectrum of stakeholders from universities and research centres, enterprises, government organisations and NGOs, and others involved in research, from Europe and beyond, interested in sharing new project ideas and finding collaboration partners. The thematic focus of the event covers all of the Horizon 2020 SC2 and KET-Biotech calls for 2020.

Registration for the brokerage event will begin on 29 April 2019 and is expected to close on 9 June 2019. The event organisers reserve the right to close the registration early should the maximum capacity be reached before 9 June 2019! Please note that registration for the SC2 Infoday occurs separately and must be done through the Commission website.

The BioHorizon project also plans to hold a free Horizon 2020 proposal writers’ workshop in Brussels on 2 July 2019. Places for the workshop will be very limited and preference will be given to prospective coordinators. To recieve information on the workshop, please indicate your interest by answering the corresponding question during the registration process.
