What happens to all the knowledge, tools and solutions developed by bioeconomy projects when the funding ends?

 

This joint Cooperation and Clustering Network webinar brings together three European projects tackling this challenge from different angles, with one shared ambition: turning project knowledge into something that can be reused, connected and carried forward.

 

Bio4HUMAN opens with why replication is never simply a matter of copying a solution or replacing one material with another, and presents the practical tools it has developed to make replication realistic: a replication-readiness checklist, replication scenarios and supporting templates.

 

thERBN follows with the thERBN Platform, how it keeps project results accessible over the long term, supports networking, and connects stakeholders across Europe, together with candid lessons from building a European thematic network, including the approaches that worked and the challenges encountered along the way.

 

BIO-INSPIRE closes with a first look at its Knowledge Exchange Platform, ahead of the platform’s launch later this autumn: what it is, who it serves, and how it is built to go on hosting bioeconomy knowledge well beyond the lifetime of the project that created it.

 

The session will conclude with an open discussion across all three projects — an opportunity to compare approaches, share experiences and explore what it really takes to give bioeconomy knowledge a life beyond the project.
