Zoom Event: Advancing Bio-Based Products Certification: A Collaborative Path Towards Sustainability

We are pleased to invite you to the Second Multi-Stakeholder Online Meeting of the BioReCer project, titled “Advancing Bio-Based Products Certification: A Collaborative Path Towards Sustainability”, taking place on November 27, 2024, from 15:00 to 16:30 CET.

This past year has seen significant progress and developments of the Horizon Europe project BioReCer that will greatly enhance the certification of bio-based products. We would love to share these advancements with you and gather your valuable feedback. In addition, we will inform participants about the Biomass Utilisation Factor, a new metric combining cascading use and production efficiency into one indicator to investigate the circularity of materials for the circular bioeconomy. We also value your input for an upcoming policy brief that aims to influence policymakers, helping shape the EU policy of tomorrow.

As you may know, BioReCer strengthens certification schemes to boost the acceptance of bio-based feedstock and products from biological waste, both by industry and consumers, and to enhance the competitiveness of Europe’s bio-based economy. Our goal is to address the needs of all stakeholders across the bio-based product value chain. To succeed, the project depends on the input and collaboration of a broad range of stakeholders, including: Producers and processors of bio-based feedstock, Bio-based industries, Certification Bodies, Policy Makers, Scientists, Consumers and their associations…

Your participation is crucial in driving the EU’s transition toward a more sustainable economy. This event will give you the opportunity to stay informed about the project’s achievements, monitor its progress, and see how your input can shape its future development.

The detailed agenda will be available shortly, but we encourage you to save your place now by registering [here]!
