About this consultation
Target audience
In line with the Better Regulation Guidelines, the EC wishes to consult stakeholders as widely as possible. Therefore, the consultation strategy aims at involving a broad set of stakeholders that includes national authorities, the EU research community, industry, EU institutions and bodies, foundations, and others. More specifically, targeted stakeholders include present and past beneficiaries of Framework Programme funding, EU Member States, associations and umbrella organisations, industrial, academic and other partner organisations, but inputs from other stakeholders as well as citizens are also welcome.
Why we are consulting
The objective of this public consultation is to seek the views of EU Research and Innovation (R&I) stakeholders and citizens on the 12 proposed Institutionalised European Partnerships under the future Horizon Europe Research and Innovation programme (2021-2027). In particular, the consultation focuses on the overall need for and the planned focus of these potential European Partnerships. Alongside individual research and innovation projects and missions, Horizon Europe will support European Partnerships to address common priorities jointly with Member States, the private sector, foundations and other stakeholders. The feedback gathered from this public consultation will provide crucial input for the impact assessment work for these candidate partnerships.
