Training Webinar 2: Biomaterials: financing, supporting policies, good practice cases

In January, POWER4BIO is organising a training webinar series about bio-based materials. In two thematic training webinars, experts from the POWER4BIO consortium, related bioeconomy projects, companies from the bio-based industrial sector, research institutes and international agencies will give insights about the current status of bio-based materials at EU level, innovative practices and keys for successful business cases, value chains, sustainability, funding opportunities and supporting policies. All webinars are free of charge and open to everyone.

In the second POWER4BIO training webinar on bio-based materials, we will tackle the needs, limitations and opportunities of policy instruments for bio-based materials. We will take a closer look to policy instruments that facilitate and set requirements to the development of potential value chains. We will also present results and good policy examples from task 4.2 of the POWER4BIO project: public policies and regulation to support bio-based business models at regional level. We will also take practical aspects to implement financial Instruments into account and present further good practice cases.

In this POWER4BIO training webinar series about bioenergy we will show success industrial examples and policies and financing instruments needed to success.

In this third and last webinar of the POWER4BIO webinar series on bioenergy, we will tackle the needs, limitations and opportunities of policy instruments for the bioenergy sector. We will take a closer look to policy instruments that facilitate and set requirements to the development of potential value chains.

Training Webinar 1: High potential value chains. From conversion technologies to business cases

In December 2020, POWER4BIO will organise a training webinar series about bioenergy. In a set of three thematic training webinars, experts from the POWER4BIO consortium and other European organisations will give insights about the current status of bioenergy production at EU level, traditional and innovative production technologies, keys for successful business cases, funding opportunities and supporting policies. All webinars will be free of charge and open to everyone. In this POWER4BIO training webinar series about bioenergy we will show success industrial examples and policies and financing instruments needed to success.

In this first webinar of the POWER4BIO webinar series on bioenergy, we will give insights to high potential value chains, with a focus on anaerobic digestion and combustion of biomass and residues from agriculture. All steps from conversion technologies to business cases will be illuminated.

The final international digital conference of the project BIOECO-R.D.I. – Bioeconomy research driven Innovation, supported by the Interreg ADRION Programme is dedicated to the bioeconomy opportunities and local networks of innovation in the Adriatic Ionian Region.

On Friday December 4^th, invited speakers will explore the regional strategies for promoting the market uptake of bioeconomy products while project partners will present the project’s main achievements and results showing their work and tools created throughout the project and focusing on key lessons for the exploitation of the bioeconomy potential in their regions.

The BLOOM project consortium would like to invite you to our closing exhibition on the 9^th of December 2020. In adherence with the Corona pandemic measures across Europe, this event will be held online.

Our exhibition offers many insights into the BLOOM project. We will present the activities and lessons learnt from the European BLOOM hubs and the BLOOM school network, and provide ample space for discussions on these topics. Participants will have the opportunity to ‘see in action’ the bioeconomy materials and outreach media we co-created and showcased at events throughout the duration of the project.
